Just found a good price for Business class and watched this video. Unfortunately this is the only one flying from London to Orlando! So I might need to find another airline now!

Sorry but I usually agree with your assessments, just disagree with a few of your observations, having flown VS recently and many times before the food offerings are dire and have been now for a number of years, I wouldn’t say the wine selection was extensive and for the seat, well it’s way past it’s sell by date, don’t get me wrong it’s great for sleeping in but compared to BA Club Suite it’s inferior. The JFK Clubhouse is great but again showing its age. The ground staff and crew are always great with VS, this particular video feels like a marketing campaign with only a nod to some short comings you experienced. Again sorry if that’s not the case but perhaps my consistent dissatisfaction with VS over the last few trips has blurred my vision, unfortunately I have jumped ship to BA, I have VS Gold For Life and hopefully I will return but for the time being is farewell for me.

Your ticket was 7500 pounds ? Thats a bit pricey I looked yesterday and it's under 9 grand for two of us Syd to London via Singapore QF 1& 2.. The London lounge does look better than the buisness lounge in Sydney though... great video cheers !

Certainly not a fan of that layout, and how aged and worn was that seating area. Food presentation was poor and considering the price BA looks much better. In my view Virgin have lost their way and offer nothing different.

I’ve flown upper class in the herringbone configuration. However I’ve also been fortunate to fly upper class on the A350 leisure configuration. Whilst the standards of service on both were impeccable the A350 only had 16 upper class seats so felt a lot more exclusive 😎😎😎😎

Interesting review, I had the same mains on my Upper Class flight from JFK, the food didn't come across as very "Upper Class", rather underwhelming in my experience. On a side note, Delta only uploads partial box sets on their IFE. I would presume they're funnelling viewers onto paid subscription services to watch the rest of the boxset.

booked my first business class overseas with qantas, looks a heck of a lot better then economy!

I've been lucky enough to fly upper class a few times but on the 787. Would be interested in a review of the a350 Manchester to Las Vegas. With only 16 upper class seats in a small cabin it would be interesting to see how the service differs from a standard flight and what the experience is like at Manchester T2.

Hubby and I love flying Upper Class with Virgin. Exceptional service throughout. The Clubhouse in LHR sets you up for the wonderful journey ahead. Unfortunately the Delta ‘Clubhouse’ in Miami was nothing special and we were quite disappointed.

Flew Virgin many years ago last time on a A340 and seats same as the one you has the slat and pepper set same (pinched mine) staff friendly and helpful did you try the lounge area

Between Virgin and Delta which are my airmiles choices out of ATL to LHR I much prefer Virgin, Delta just don't have it right and the clubhouses are superior to any Sky club

Qantas very poor compared to emirates and ethiad. Check these 2 airlines out and see the massive difference. Makes Qantas look like economy at best.

Turkish airlines always disappoints, why they still even fly? Always a disappointment with business and first class.

Very old planes unfortunately, not worth the extra money. I always fly first class with Emirates or KLM. Much much better 👍🏼

where do you put your clothes when you're wearing pj's and does Singapore lounge offer table service for food or just buffet?

1. Looks more than a business class . I would prefer QSuites , Qatar airways business class over this 2. No caviar . Every self respecting carrier offers caviar in first class . BA used to years ago 3. The leg rest is too narrow , as is the screen ( smaller than some business class seats of other carriers ). 4. Food choice is below par .

Just traveled to Male Maldives return journey, NOTHING WORKED, an airlines Fawlty towers, missold , they know full well how bad it is, even the aircrew were embarrassed .

One minute. You paid business class and it’s same seats as the reset. Plus you paid for internet and no screens. Ba is no value for money.

Flew that class of service LHR-LAX yesterday. It was good. Media selection was lame but I ate well and slept and the crew were attentive. What else do you need?

Apart from the seat being slightly outdated, the flight looks enjoyable. I will be on CX252 in December (maybe with the Aria suite by then?) and so I’m really excited. Thanks for the excellent review, I enjoyed watching! 😊

Thank you for including that bit from the safety video honoring the original inhabitants of Australia. As much bad as I see people talk about Qantas in the aviation RUclips space, I thought that was actually pretty cool of them.

I know CX is going through a recovery period and announcing a new business class product so I know the future is bright. Still one of the better Asian carriers and from my experience they have d a good selection of movies and content overall.

Great review, but on the basis of a group of my friends, who travelled premium to the US for golf, I won’t ever fly Virgin. Plus I think that layout is poor. Who doesn’t want to look out a window?

They are revamping these cabins/IFE systems later this year, so understandable with your comments. Interesting to hear you call it narrow, SQ has a very wide seat but very narrow footrest. I think compared to QSuite, this seat is narrow but compared to BA, SQ, Emirates--it's actually wider.

I just can't get myself to fly anything other than business. I feel my chest tighten just by the very thought of economy.
